Abigail (Abby) Faires is an American author, freelance grant writer, ESL teacher, international traveler, and the future CEO of Learn2Link: a global learning network for sustainable community development and emerging 501(c)(3) organization.
At the core of her work lies a true passion for education, health, responsible tourism, and sustainable community development. In 2013, she received distinction as the University of Colorado School of Journalism’s Outstanding Graduate, where she also obtained a B.S. in Journalism, News-Editorial, and a certificate in International Media. Since then, Abby’s work has appeared in various print and online publications, including The Culture-ist, The Colorado Daily, The Boulder Weekly, Yellow Scene Magazine, 5280.com, SuperCruises.com, and Forbes.com.
After spending three years freelancing and teaching English in central Vietnam, Abby is now working as a writer and volunteering as an ESL teacher in Bolivia, where she is currently facilitating a virtual exchange between K-8 students in New York City and La Paz.
